WOMEN IN SERVICE
“Narcotics Anonymous is a twelve-step program which is based on suggestions, one of which is “men work with men, women work with women.” This suggestion is the result of countless members experience in both service work and personal recovery.” – H&I Service Bulletin #5
Our literature says that our primary purpose in Narcotics Anonymous is to “Carry the message to the addict who still suffers.” We do this by being of service. Our literature also says that “The therapeutic value of one addict helping another is without parallel” we learn that providing selfless service to NA is one way many of our members choose to demonstrate their gratitude for all that NA has given to them-www.na.org/…/Pamphlet-Being of Service.
The Women in Service dinner has been a huge success in providing a wonderful opportunity for us to come together to encourage, uplift and support each other over a fabulous meal with a special opportunity to share with one another.
The event will include table prizes, games, and a speaker for an inspiring night. Please come out and join us.
